Become a Fan of Children's Author Nicole Weaver

This month I'm hosting Day 6 of the Virtual Book Tours for all the children's book authors/illustrators who are part of the October Showcase at the National Writing for Children Center. Today I'm pleased to be hosting Day 1 of the tour for author Nicole Weaver.  Thanks for stopping by today Nicole.  I've been following your book tour with The National Writing For Children's Center.  You've been on some wonderful blogs telling folks how you got started as an author, and what your working on next.  Your book is rather unique because it's written in three languages: English, Spanish, and French.  I know that you also teach languages in a public school.  I think picture books are a great way to help kids learn languages.  Even big kids like me.

"I am hoping my trilingual book will attract fans from all over the world."

This is a delightful, heart warming story that kids will love to read over and over again.  They will even learn about sea turtles!

Kathy, what a find!

I learned of your site from The Old Silly's VBT Special Feature post. Speaking of which, Happy Birthday!

As I told him I feel like he has given me a gift on your birthday and if that wasn't enough, as an aspiring children's author, look at the time I stumbled here. I don't believe this was an accident or coincidence, not at all -- THIS IS A DIVINE INTRODUCTION. I plan to get and give all that is destined!

Now on to all of the writers you are featuring. ;-)I signed up for the monthly newsletter as well.

Happy Birthday!

Hey Kissie. Glad to meet you. I love when God puts people together. I'd love to help you in any way that I can. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

It's my honor to host you Nicole. You are a kindred spirit too.

It's valuable for young children to be exposed to more than one language because that helps them learn additional languages when they're older. And learning about other cultures helps children become understanding adults. Nicole's writing should make a difference in the world.

Thank you for sharing, Kathy. Nicole, it's wonderful that you are so talented and fluent in different languages!
