Amazon Review of Too Many Tutus by D. Fowler
Christina was getting ready to go to ballet class, but she was having a little problem. It wasn't serious mind you, but it put her in a quandary. She couldn't decide which tutu to wear to class because she had "too too many tutus!" Her Mommy told her to go to her Daddy for advice, but he gently told her that she would have to decide for herself. Her brother Max had the best idea. He told her to take them put them all on her bed. That way when she looked "at them all together" it would be much easier for her to pick one. Now that sounded like a plan!

Her tutus captured every color in the rainbow and her imagination was sparked thinking how beautifully she would look and how gracefully she could dance with each one. Her green one would be perfect for an "outdoors dance," she could "whirl and twirl under the bright blue sky" with the blue one, but if she put on her violet tutu she "could dance with the iris and the violets and the lilacs on an early spring day." There were so many colorful choices to make, but in the end she made the perfect decision. Which color do you think she chose?!

This was a charming tale your little ballerina will love and will reach for time and time again. The whimsical illustrations were very appealing their spirit meshed perfectly with the text. Each time Christina tried on a new tutu the book came alive as she danced and posed on the pages. If you have a little dance fan in your house, this one is sure to be a hit!
